A.A.H. Veterinary Services stands for American Animal Health. We began our services in 1989, when Dr. Nave graduated from Oklahoma State University. Dr. Nave was born in Oklahoma in 1961 and as a teenager was raised in Madrid, Spain going to King's College Madrid Preparatory school and at the age of twelve until she went to university, she worked for a local veterinarian (In addition to working some months at the Madrid Zoo). The business began by providing House-Calls to the english speaking public and now has amplified to include all aspects of animal health.

The newest addition is transportation of pets to and from other countries, for owners who are moving and cannot take their animals with them immediately. We care for the pets until they can be sent and provide the correct paperwork needed for each country. This has been particularly important for the new laws in England concerning the quarentining of pets which has changed quite radically in the last few years, allowing pets to be taken into England without quarentine as long as they have the correct paperwork which takes at least 6 months to acquire. A.A.H. has been working closely with the various agencies and has sent many animals to England in these few years as well as providing the correct paperwork for people who have been informed incorrectly, so that they can travel to England. We are also using a pet transport company in England to send the animal to the owners doorstep thus avoiding the hours necessary to get the pet out of the airport, they will also travel by car taking your pet to and from England and Spain.

Another minor part of pet transportation which WE provide in Madrid which can save alot of headache for the owner is to pick up animals at the airport when they are sent by cargo, saving the owner alot of paperwork and time. We also will pick up animals at the airport when the whole family arrives together and the pets cannot be kept at the hotel or also take the animals to the airport when the owners are leaving and have to stay in the hotel for a few days.
